Microneedling

Microneedling with Dermapen is a minimally invasive treatment that aims to improve the quality of the skin, stimulating the production of collagen and allowing the active ingredients to penetrate much deeper. Microneedling is a treatment created to combat skin aging, treat burn and acne scars, and improve the appearance of wrinkles and stretch marks.

This aesthetic medical procedure favors the penetration of cosmetic active ingredients, such as Vitamin C, Retinol, or Hyaluronic Acid. They allow both molecules too small for other methods and large ones to penetrate. In addition, they significantly improve melasma and vitiligo.

At NewFace MD we have developed an exclusive protocol for this treatment that has shown excellent results in the treatment of different skin alterations such as rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, marks, and scars or acne.

How does microneedling work?

Microneedling is performed through the use of the Dermapen, ahead with multiple small needles that penetrate the skin with various substances in the deepest layers, opening microchannels.

How long does the microneedling treatment last?

Results can be visible even after the first treatment session, but a full course of 6-10 sessions is recommended to achieve the best possible results. It is usually recommended, depending on the patient and what we are treating, for a minimum of 3 weeks between each session.
