From Colombia to Florida, Dr. David Jativa’s journey blends medical training with an entrepreneurial vision for patient-first care. After relocating to the United States in 2008, he continued postgraduate training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach and soon set out to build something larger than a solo practice. As Medical Director and founder of New Face MD Surgery Centers in North Miami Beach, he leads a program that brings together board-certified cosmetic and plastic surgeons, a skilled clinical team, and experienced administrators to deliver coordinated aesthetic care grounded in safety, clarity, and natural-looking results. Outside the clinic, he prioritizes time with his family, enjoys running, and shares a love for animals with his three dogs values that mirror the balance and well-being he encourages in his teams.safety standards, curating talent, and aligning Colombian artistry with U.S. protocols to deliver natural looking results and a consistent experience.

Dr. Jativa begins by listening and defining goals with precision. His approach aligns Colombian artistry with U.S. standards: honest education, evidence-based technique selection, and attentive follow-up so every step of the journey feels supported and transparent.

In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Dr. Jativa focuses on facial harmonization and non-surgical rejuvenation—neuromodulators and dermal fillers for refined balance; collagen-stimulating treatments and thread lifting when appropriate; and energy-based therapies such as CO₂ laser and radiofrequency microneedling to improve tone and texture. He is deeply involved in comprehensive treatment planning for surgical pathways, peri-operative optimization, second-opinion consultations, and the constant coaching and development of the clinical team to keep techniques current and outcomes consistent.
Education & Training
Dr. Jativa earned his medical degree in Colombia and continued postgraduate training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach after moving to the United States in 2008. His ongoing professional education emphasizes patient-safety systems, aesthetic medicine, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Fluent in Spanish and English, he serves a diverse South Florida community while guiding the clinical standards and culture of New Face MD Surgery Centers.
